Caitlin Donisi, LCSW

“My goal is to help individuals develop the tools needed to manage their emotions, improve coping skills, and build resilience.”

Hi, I’m Caitlin and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 8 years of experience working with individuals of all ages. I have a passion for supporting both children and adults through life’s challenges, helping them navigate emotional hurdles, develop coping strategies, and build stronger, more resilient lives. I believe in the importance of building a strong, trusting relationship with each person, whether child or adult, allowing them to feel heard and understood. My goal is to help individuals develop the tools needed to manage their emotions, improve coping skills, and build resilience.

I work with children, teens, and adults to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues; including anxiety, depression, trauma, school-related stress, self-esteem struggles, and difficulties with social relationships. When working with children, I also work closely with parents and caregivers to provide guidance, enhance communication, and create a collaborative approach to supporting their child’s mental health. I am trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, where I have immense experience working together with children and parents as a family unit to improve functioning and reduce stress within the home.

While PCIT informs my approach on family work, I also integrate additional evidence-based models in my sessions, including: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy to create a supportive and empowering space for both individual and family growth. Whether you are looking for your own support during challenging times, or have a child struggling with difficult emotions, I am here to help guide you toward a better understanding of yourself and your needs. If you are ready for individual growth, improved family dynamics, and/or emotional and behavioral support with your child, please give me a call to schedule an appointment.
